1. Introduction

This screen represents the Technology Master Data module of the system. Its purpose is to define, edit, and manage manufacturing operations and to assign the required resources—such as machines, workers, and tools—to each technological step. Within this interface, the user can specify setup times, standard times, and all related production parameters that influence planning and execution.

2. Technology Master Data Overview

The module is located in the main menu under Technology.
The interface is divided into two primary sections:

  1. Data Form (left side) – used to configure the details of a specific technological operation.
  2. Resource Assignment (right side) – used to assign machines, workers, and tools required for that operation.

At the top of the screen, the following actions are available:

  • New – create a new technology record
  • Edit – modify an existing record
  • Copy – duplicate an existing technology
  • Save – save changes
  • Delete – permanently remove a record
  • Cancel – exit the current action without saving

3. Technology Data

The data form includes the following fields:

  • ID – unique identifier of the technology
  • Name – the operation name (e.g., Milling)
  • Setup Time – the preparation time required for the operation, with selectable units (min, h)
  • Standard Time – the execution time per unit, also with selectable time units

These parameters determine how long the operation takes and how it will appear in production planning.

4. Resource Assignment

The right panel allows resource assignment within three categories:

  1. Machine – e.g., CNC, milling machine, laser cutter
  2. Worker – employees qualified to perform the operation
  3. Tool – required tools or accessories

Each resource row provides:

  • Filter icon – apply resource filters
  • + icon – add a new resource – The system will automatically save the first resource you add. Then you can continue adding technology by pressing the edit button.
  • X / delete icon – remove the resource

Assigned items appear as selectable labels (tags), which can be easily removed or modified.

5. List View

At the bottom of the screen, the list of technologies includes:

  • ID
  • Name
  • Setup Time
  • Standard Time

A search bar enables quick filtering, while the CSV icon allows exporting the list.
