1. Introduction

The Worker Management module allows administrators to create, maintain, and manage workers within the system.
Upon registration, the system automatically creates the first worker with Admin privileges based on the webshop registration data.
Additional workers can be created manually through this interface.

The module is divided into two main sections:

  1. Worker Details (Section 1)
  2. Worker List & Search (Section 2)

2. Automatic Worker Creation on Registration

When a new user registers in the webshop:

  • The system automatically creates a Worker record with Admin privileges.
  • The worker’s Username equals the webshop registrant’s name.
  • Only the password can be changed later.
  • The system generates the initial password automatically and sends it via email after registration.
  • The webshop sends the username and password to the system via API.

3. Navigating to the Worker Management Page

In the Admin Interface, the Workers menu item appears under the General or Master Data section (depending on configuration). Selecting it opens the Worker Management page.

4. Page Structure

4.1. Section 1 – Worker Details

This section is used to create new workers or modify existing ones.

Fields

5. Permissions (Role Management)

The system contains three predefined roles, hard-coded at system level:

  • Admin
  • Factory Worker
  • Admin & Factory Worker
5.1. Role Behavior
Admin
  • Username and password fields are required.
  • The first Admin comes from the webshop registration.
  • Username/password are received via API.
  • Has full access to both administrative and shop-floor functions.
Factory Worker
  • No username and password (fields are inactive).
  • Can only access the factory floor interface.
  • Logs in using their Worker ID.
  • The password must be 5 digits for factory worker and user authorization.
Admin & Factory Worker
  • Has access to both admin and shop-floor interfaces.
  • Username and password fields are active and must be set.

6. Language Settings

The Language field allows selecting the worker’s preferred system language.
This setting overrides the system-wide default language for that user.

7. Section 2 – Worker List

This section displays all existing workers in a table.

Users can:

  • Select a worker to view/edit details in Section 1
  • Filter the list using the built-in search functions

8. Loading Worker Details

There are two ways to load worker data into Section 1:

  1. Using the Search Results
    • After filtering, double-click a row → loads data into Section 1.
  2. No filter applied
    • If filtering is not used, single-click on a row → loads the data into Section 1.

9. Summary

The Worker Management module provides:

✔ Automatic creation of the first Admin user from webshop data
✔ Full management of employee data, roles, and access rights
✔ Built-in search and filtering options
✔ Clear separation between administrative and shop-floor users
✔ Consistent and secure user access control
